Joining is Simple: Don't know how or where to get a pro bono case?  If you are a member of The Florida Bar in good standing, you may simply begin volunteering by completing and submitting the opportunities form below.  Don't know what type of matter you want to handle? Don't worry, once we confirm you are a Florida Bar Licensed attorney you may contact us for your password and instructions on how to access available pro bono matters on line, how to register for upcoming CLE seminars, where to download training materials, request mentors and much more.  Once approved, you will receive notification and a password in order to peruse available cases on issues such as child advocacy, family law, housing, probate, bankruptcy, patent and consumer pro bono matters and opportunities to assist those who are self-represented, to provide limited-scope representation or direct legal representation.  In some cases, it may even be possible to provide meaningful pro bono assistance remotely without ever leaving your office or ever meeting a client face to face through the use of technology.  DadeCountyProBono.org offers a full range of opportunities and options from staffing clinics and hotlines to serving as mentors to providing full representation including appeals.  Please explore the cases below and see how you can help the leaders in the pro bono community protect and promote access to justice.
